Styling canbe applied either at theModuleLevel, where all records within amodule share the same appearance, or at theCategory/Field Level,where marker styles are determined by the value of a selected CRM field.
Thesecustomization options help create a more intuitive and visually organized map,making it easier for users to identify and differentiate records at a glance.

Step-by-step guide
OpenSettingsin DotlyMaps.
Navigate toMap Intelligence → Appearance & Markers.
Select one of the available styling methods:
Module Level Styling, Applies the same marker style to every record in a module.Category / Field Level Styling, Applies different marker styles based on the value of a selected CRM field.
Expand the module you want to configure (such as Leads, Contacts, Accounts, or Deals).
Choose theMarker Type:
Icon, Select a marker icon from the available icon library.Color, Assign a colour to represent the selected module or category.
Repeat the process for additional modules if required.
Save your changes.
Refresh or reopen the map to view the updated marker styles.
Example
ConfigureallLeadrecords to use a blue location pin, or assigndifferent marker icons based on theLeadStatusfield so that Hot, Warm, andCold leads appear with distinct markers.
