This Privacy Policy describes how Apex Cloud Tech LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal information in relation to DotlyMaps websites and products (together, "DotlyMaps Offerings"). DotlyMaps is owned and operated by Apex Cloud Tech LLC.
DotlyMaps is a geo-intelligence software platform for territory management, optimized routing, CRM-connected map intelligence, analytics, AI workspace features, and field force mobile applications. DotlyMaps is owned and operated by Apex Cloud Tech LLC. You can access DotlyMaps using a web browser or the DotlyMaps mobile app for iOS or Android.
While providing DotlyMaps Offerings to you, we gather two types of information: information you give us and automatic information.
You provide information to us when you:
subscribe to or purchase DotlyMaps Offerings;
create or administer your DotlyMaps account;
configure settings, provide data access permissions, or otherwise interact with DotlyMaps Offerings;
upload or import data to DotlyMaps Offerings by connecting CRM or other data sources, or through the DotlyMaps API;
communicate with us through in-app support or other channels;
enable location tracking on your device for field force features; and
employ notification services.
Depending on your use of DotlyMaps Offerings, you might supply us with such information as:
your name, email address, physical address, phone number, and other contact information;
information about your precise location when you enable location services in the DotlyMaps mobile app or browser;
payment information, including credit card data, note: when you provide payment information, you enter it directly into the software of our PCI DSS-certified payment provider embedded in DotlyMaps Offerings; Apex Cloud Tech LLC does not receive, store, or process card data on its servers;
information about your organization and your contacts, such as colleagues or people within your organization;
user roles and other authentication and security credential information;
customer content including CRM records, territories, maps, field activity, and files you upload or connect;
content of feedback, inquiries, support requests, and communications with us;
tax identifiers where applicable.
We collect information automatically when you:
visit, interact with, or use DotlyMaps Offerings;
download content from us;
open emails or click links in emails from us; and
interact or communicate with us, such as when you request customer support.
Examples of the information we automatically collect include:
network and connection information, such as the IP address used to connect your device to the Internet;
computer and device information, such as device, application, or browser type and version, operating system, or time zone setting;
authentication and security credential information;
DotlyMaps Offerings metrics, such as usage, technical errors, diagnostic reports, settings preferences, API calls, and other logs;
clickstream data to, through, and from DotlyMaps Offerings, including content you viewed or searched for, page response times, and page interaction information;
identifiers and information contained in cookies (see the Cookies section below).
We use your personal information to operate, provide, and improve DotlyMaps Offerings. Our purposes include:
Provide DotlyMaps Offerings: deliver the service and process transactions related to registrations, subscriptions, purchases, and payments.

Recommendations and personalization: identify preferences and personalize your experience where configured.

At DotlyMaps, security is a priority. We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind.
We maintain compliance programs that validate our security controls.
We protect the security of your information during transmission using encryption protocols and software.
We do not process or store your credit card data and instead rely on PCI DSS-certified payment processors.
We maintain electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and disclosure of personal information. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.
You can view, update, and delete certain information about your account and your interactions with DotlyMaps Offerings through your account settings in the DotlyMaps admin console or mobile app. Examples include your name, email address, phone number, user roles, subscription and billing history, payment settings, and notification preferences.

You have choices about the collection and use of your personal information. Many DotlyMaps Offerings include settings that provide options as to how your information is being used. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of certain DotlyMaps Offerings.
Account information: add, update, or delete information related to your account through the DotlyMaps admin console or app. When you update or delete information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
Account removal: request full removal of your DotlyMaps account and its data by contacting us through in-app support or by mail at the address below.
Communications: opt out of promotional messages by using unsubscribe links where provided or by adjusting notification settings in the app or on your device.
Cookie preferences: manage cookies through your browser settings or as described in our Cookie Policy.
Mobile app statistical data: prevent collection of mobile app statistical data by uninstalling the DotlyMaps mobile app.
Geolocation data: prevent collection of location data by deactivating location tracking in DotlyMaps user preferences, revoking location permission for the DotlyMaps app in your device settings, or disabling location services in your browser.
We do not provide DotlyMaps Offerings for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use DotlyMaps Offerings only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
DotlyMaps Offerings may embed content provided by others or include links to other websites and applications, including CRM connectors, map providers, and analytics services. Those companies may collect information about you when you interact with their content or services. We are not responsible for the practices of these companies. Please consult their privacy policies to learn about their data practices.
We keep your personal information to enable your continued use of DotlyMaps Offerings for as long as required to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, as required by law (including for tax and accounting purposes), or as otherwise communicated to you. How long we retain specific personal information varies depending on the purpose for its use, and we will delete your personal information in accordance with applicable law.
