Overview
The Connections page in DotlyMaps allows you to connect and manage external data sources used within the application. It is available under Data & Integrations > Connections.
The page displays available connections along with their Platform Type, connection status, Last Sync, and Used by Modules information. Users can also search connections, filter them by status or platform, and create new connections.
Why it matters
Connections allow DotlyMaps to access data from external platforms and keep the required data sources available for mapping and synchronization.

Step-by-step guide
- Navigate to Data & Integrations > Connections to open the Connections page.
- Review the available data source cards and check their Platform Type and connection status.
- Select New Connection to create a new connection.
- For a connection that is not connected, select its available connection option, such as Connect, Link Zoho Sheet, Link Google Sheet, or Upload Sheet, depending on the data source.
- Complete the connection process for the selected data source.
- Once the connection is established, review the connection card to confirm that its status shows Connected.
- For a connected data source, select Sync Now to start synchronizing its records.
- Use the Search connections field to quickly find a specific connection.
- Use the All Status and All Platforms filters to narrow down the displayed connections.
- Review the Last Sync and Used by Modules information to check the connection's synchronization and module usage details.

Connect a Zoho CRM data source, confirm that it shows Connected, and select Sync Now to synchronize its records.

- Connect only the data sources required for your DotlyMaps setup.
- Verify the connection status before starting a sync.
